
The " Gia Lai City Trail – Dream of the Great Forest 2025" running race is a unique sports and tourism event of Gia Lai province, organized by the Gia Lai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with VietRace365 Joint Stock Company.
The race, supported by relevant departments, wards/communes, the Gia Lai Marathon Club, and Gia Lai Newspaper, Radio and Television – the media sponsor – will take place from October 31st to November 2nd at the Bien Ho Scenic Area, located in Bien Ho commune, Gia Lai province.

Over 6,800 athletes participated in the "Gia Lai City Trail 2024 - Dream of the Great Forest" race.
According to the Gia Lai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, amidst the vibrant yellow blossoms of the wild sunflowers covering the plateau, the "Gia Lai City Trail - Dream of the Great Forest 2025" race returns, offering an emotional journey through the majestic nature of the Central Highlands.
With nearly 3,000 athletes from Vietnam and abroad, the race is not just a grassroots sporting event, but also a journey of cultural experience and exploration of the vast forests – where every step leads past the azure Biển Hồ lake, centuries-old pine trees, the misty Bửu Minh tea hills, and the majestic Chư Đăng Ya volcano and Chư Nâm peak.

The organizers of the "Gia Lai City Trail – Dream of the Great Forest 2025" running race announce that eligible participants, both male and female, must be Vietnamese citizens or foreigners residing and working in Vietnam, in good health, and without criminal records or disciplinary issues.


This year, the race will be an individual competition in each category, with distances of 42km, 21km, 10km, and 5km.
Notably, athletes competing in the 42 km race must be 18 years old or older (born in 2007 or earlier). For the 21 km race, athletes must be 16 years old or older (born in 2009 or earlier).
For the 5km and 10km races, athletes under 16 years of age must have a legal guardian who is responsible and signs a "Liability Waiver Form".
