Ben Tre honors 86 outstanding union officials

Commending 86 outstanding union officials in union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in Ben Tre

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Phuc Linh said that over the past 95 years, generations of union officials have united, unified in will and action, bringing the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers and union activities in Ben Tre province to new heights.

Ben Tre Provincial Trade Union has constantly innovated its content and methods of operation, taking union members and workers as the center, taking practical effectiveness as a prominent measure for patriotic emulation movements.

These are the movements "Good worker, creative worker", "Good at public work, good at housework", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", and the programs "Workers' rear", "Happy Tet", "Workers' month", "Union shelter"... bringing practical results.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor implemented the program "Workers' Rear" to care for thousands of union members and workers.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor honored 86 outstanding union officials in trade union activities and the movement of workers and civil servants; awarded 23 "For the cause of building trade union organizations" medals to union officials who have made many contributions to building the Vietnam Trade Union Organization; and awarded the "July 28 Award" to 8 excellent grassroots trade union chairmen in 2024.
