Mr. Trinh Xuan Quyet, Party cell secretary and head of Tru So village, guides people in trimming green hedges.
Tru So village has 138 households with 535 people, people mainly live on agriculture - forestry and small business. Through actively propagating and mobilizing cadres, party members, and people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations, he always listens to people's opinions, solves village problems effectively, and is trusted and loved by people. All work is discussed democratically by him from the Party cell to people's meetings to find solutions that are reasonable and reasonable. He himself always practices "saying goes hand in hand with doing", "taking the lead as an example" in all activities, always being close to people to grasp their ideological situation, actively mobilizing people to effectively participate in emulation movements and campaigns.
Identifying production development as a “lever” to mobilize resources to complete the criteria of the new rural model, he actively mobilized people to apply scientific and technical advances in agricultural production; develop service industries and professions. Many households have proactively renewed their thinking, become more dynamic in economic development to escape poverty. Typical examples include the model of growing ornamental plants, fruit trees combined with beekeeping of Mr. Trinh Ngoc Han's family; the cow raising model of Mr. Tran Sy Luong's family... bringing in hundreds of millions of VND in revenue each year.
In building a model new rural village, determining the role and responsibility of the leader, Party cell secretary and village chief Trinh Xuan Quyet, together with party members in the cell committee and village executive committee, closely followed the direction of the superiors, actively propagandized and mobilized people to join hands and wholeheartedly participate in contributing ideas, labor, money and land to build new rural areas.
To create consensus on land donation among the people, he made efforts to propagate and mobilize, first of all, the role of "setting an example" for cadres and party members in the Party cell. Assigning party members to be in charge of each residential area, proactively carrying out tasks according to the assigned plan. During the mobilization process, he implemented the motto "slow and steady wins the race". For families who were still hesitant and did not agree, he persistently met many times to explain, help people understand and support. Thanks to that, the majority of people agreed to respond to the policy of donating land for traffic roads. In 3 years (2022-2024), he and the village front work committee mobilized people in the village to contribute more than 5.5 billion VND, donate more than 1,000m2 of land and thousands of working days. Every Sunday morning, the residential groups in the village organize to clean the village roads, alleys, family grounds, ensuring clean houses, green gardens, and garbage-free roads... The lives of the people in Tru So village are increasingly improved, with an average income per capita of 75 million VND/year, and there are no more poor or near-poor households in the village. In 2024, the village will reach the model new-style rural village finish line.
According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Minh Son Commune Party Committee, Ha Tien Giang, in recent years, the lives of people in Tru So village have been constantly improved both materially and spiritually. The implementation of a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals has been maintained by the villagers in a cultured, formal, and legal manner. This change was achieved thanks to the direction of the Party Committee, Party cells, and Fatherland Front at all levels, the coordination of mass organizations, and the support of the people in the village, including the great mark of Party cell Secretary and village chief Trinh Xuan Quyet.
