Not only the Mailisa beauty salon website, according to records on e-commerce platforms, many personal accounts are still selling Doctor Magic products.

Even though the TikTok page has a blue tick, "TMV MAILISA" has removed all previously sold cosmetic products.

However, nowadays, just by typing in the search keyword "Doctor Magic", these products are still being sold everywhere. There are product sets used to improve melasma, freckles, etc. that are still being sold for 7 million VND.

Just click the "buy now" button to place an order and you will still be notified that the order was successful.

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the morning of November 26, Mr. Ta Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Drug Administration, Ministry of Health , said that when there was a decision to revoke the number of cosmetic product declaration receipts and suspend circulation and recall cosmetic products put on the market by MK Skincare Import-Export Production, Trade and Service Company Limited, the Department also sent a document to the units requesting coordination in removing these products from e-commerce sites.

Specifically, the Department has sent a document requesting the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy - Ministry of Industry and Trade ; Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to direct e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, TikTok Shop...) and social networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube...) to stop trading, advertising, and posting articles related to the recalled cosmetic products of MK Skincare Company to protect the health of consumers.

On November 25, the Drug Administration of Vietnam suspended the circulation and recalled nationwide all remaining batches of 162 cosmetic products put on the market by MK Skincare Company.

Buying and selling cheap cosmetics made in China makes thousands of billions of dong in profit

Previously, on November 21, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency initiated a criminal case of smuggling that occurred at MK Skincare Company and related units and localities.

At the same time, prosecute and arrest Phan Thi Mai, Director of Mailisa Beauty Salon LLC, and 7 related people for the crime of "smuggling".

This company imports and markets the brands Doctor Magic, Maika Beauty, MK.

Initial investigation determined that from 2020 to 2024, with the purpose of importing cosmetics to Vietnam to sell for profit through the Mailisa beauty salon chain, Phan Thi Mai and her husband Hoang Kim Khanh agreed to buy cosmetics produced in Guangzhou (China) at cheap prices, not ensuring quality and ingredients as declared, not qualified for a certificate of free circulation (CFS) in China.

Then colluded with Chinese subjects, signed fake contracts, changed the origin of cosmetics (from Guangzhou, China to Hong Kong) to get CFS in Hong Kong.

Mai's group organized smuggling into Vietnam and advertised cosmetics as being produced in Hong Kong to attract the tastes and trust of domestic customers, selling them at prices many times higher, illegally earning thousands of billions of dong (counting only 3/100 main products provided by the Mailisa system on the market).
