The delegation included comrades: Y Giang Gry Nie Knong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Dinh Thi Thu Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Dinh Vien, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Nguyen Thien Van, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities.
In Song Cau ward, storm No. 13 caused particularly heavy damage with total estimated losses of over 225 billion VND. Of which, the loss to the fisheries sector accounted for 172.4 billion VND, mainly in aquaculture cages. The entire ward had 17 collapsed houses, 169 houses with completely blown-off roofs, many traffic routes and technical infrastructure systems damaged.

Local authorities have urgently repaired and cleared National Highway 1 and other major roads, restored electricity and water; arranged temporary shelters for households whose houses collapsed; and received and distributed 3,575 relief packages.
The ward proposed that the province consider debt relief and extension mechanisms for people borrowing capital for aquaculture; support funding for infrastructure repairs; and prioritize electricity and traffic repairs.

For Xuan Loc commune, the total damage caused by storm No. 13 was about 190.5 billion VND, of which aquatic products and cages accounted for over 75 billion VND. The commune had 3,873 damaged houses, including 27 completely collapsed houses and 40 severely damaged houses.
Immediately after the storm, the locality mobilized police, militia, army and border guards to help people clean up and clear roads; 100% of schools were repaired and teaching resumed. The commune received 2,601 support packages, totaling more than 1.3 billion VND.

Speaking at the inspection session, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet praised the proactive response and overcoming of damage caused by storm No. 13 by the local government, armed forces and people.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested localities to review the extent of damage in each case, have full confirmation, focus on prioritizing support for emergency cases; at the same time, rectify aquaculture planning, avoid risks arising during the rainy and stormy season.
Localities review the workload during the damage recovery process to propose increased support forces; consider supporting seedlings for people. The Department of Finance considers temporary funding support for localities to serve the work of overcoming the consequences of the storm.

"Local authorities must consider supporting people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods as a top priority," Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to 6 families who suffered heavy losses due to storm No. 13 in Song Cau ward and Xuan Loc commune. Provincial Party Committee Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet hoped that people would soon overcome difficulties and repair their houses to stabilize their lives.
