Recently, on Facebook, information appeared about a group of tourists being insulted and threatened by a hotel in Cua Lo ( Nghe An ) with their “legs chopped off”. However, the hotel owner confirmed that there was no such thing and asked the police to clarify.
Specifically, Facebook account QN (name unknown) posted on social media: On June 9, a group of guests booked a room online at VH hotel and deposited 1 million VND in advance and agreed to check in at 12 noon on June 9.
However, when the group arrived, the hotel staff did not let the guests go to their rooms and said that the hotel's rule was to check in after 2 hours. The whole group was very upset because the group had many small children and had arrived on time.
The hotel staff then announced that there were only 2 rooms that could be temporarily occupied, but the hotel did not provide electricity and it was not until exactly 2 o'clock that the procedures for assigning rooms and electricity were completed. Because they were so upset with the hotel's behavior, the group of guests decided to move to another place.
Also according to information from this Facebook account, because the group ordered lunch, they returned to the hotel for lunch. In the evening, while the group was eating, the hotel owner hired 3 people to find the group and threatened to "cut off the group members' legs and insult the whole group... ".

According to the hotel's regulations, check-in time is 2:00 a.m. While waiting for the room, the group of guests talked with the electric car owner at the gate, then informed the hotel of their change of residence and asked for their deposit to be refunded.
Regarding the information about "threatening and insulting" the guests, Mr. T. explained that two of his employees went to find the group of guests to ask why they had left to stay elsewhere. Mr. T. said that he wanted to find out the cause to fix the hotel's shortcomings (if any) and there was absolutely no threat to "cut off the guests' legs" as posted on the Facebook account mentioned above.
