To ensure the safety of students and the convenience of parents, the school has adjusted the dismissal time on November 6 and 7. Specifically: students in grades 6 and 7 will leave at 3:45 p.m.; students in grades 8 and 9 will leave at 4:00 p.m.

School supervisors, security guards and medical staff are in charge of controlling entrances and exits, providing rain protection, providing safety warnings and handling any arising situations.

Huynh Khuong Ninh Secondary School also notified parents on the afternoon of November 6, adjusting the school dismissal time from 5:55 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. so that students can return home safely amid the risk of heavy rain and high tides.

The school requires parents to proactively arrange to pick up and drop off their children at the adjusted time, bring raincoats and hats, and follow the instructions of the supervisors and security guards to avoid congestion.

In case parents are late due to force majeure, students will be kept at school to wait.

On November 5, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City sent a notice to educational institutions about urgently implementing plans and measures to respond to the impact of storm Kalmaegi.

Accordingly, the department requested heads of educational institutions to prepare plans to respond to the impacts of storms, especially thunderstorms, tornadoes, landslides, and flooding caused by heavy rain combined with high tides.

In particular, suspend extracurricular educational activities for students before, during and after the storm, until safety work returns to normal.
