Personnel changes at Sacombank

Recently, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( Sacombank ) announced the dismissal of two Deputy General Directors, Mr. Nguyen Ba Tri from the position of Deputy General Director and Director of Ho Chi Minh City Region and Mr. Hoang Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director and Director of the Northern Region.

According to information from the bank, the change related to Mr. Nguyen Ba Tri is due to Mr. Tri's candidacy for the Board of Members of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank Leasing Company Limited. Regarding Mr. Hai's case, after being dismissed, he will assume the new position of Deputy Director of the Northern Region from May 27, 2025.

According to Sacombank, Mr. Nguyen Ba Tri was born in 1968, holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and has 31 years of experience in the fields of economics , finance and banking. He started working at Sacombank in 1996, holding many important positions in the system. In 2012, he was appointed to the bank's Board of Directors, marking a turning point in his senior management career at Sacombank.

Born in 1968, Mr. Hoang Thanh Hai has a bachelor's degree in economics and has accumulated 28 years of experience in the finance and banking industry. He joined Sacombank in 2002 and has held many important management roles during his career. In 2014, he was officially appointed to the Board of Directors, continuing to participate deeply in the process of planning and implementing the bank's development strategy.

Thus, in less than a month, Sacombank's senior personnel structure has been continuously "shaken". Previously, Ms. Nguyen Duc Thach Diem resigned from the position of General Director after nearly 8 years of working there. After Ms. Diem resigned, Sacombank's Board of Directors appointed Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhung as Acting General Director of the bank./.
