The Quang Ngai Border Guard Command has directed coastal units to synchronously deploy storm prevention and control measures to protect people's lives, property and vehicles.
At Sa Ky and Co Luy seaports, officers and soldiers of the Sa Ky port border post patrolled, propagated, and mobilized fishermen to move boats and fish cages to safe anchorage positions; assisted people in tying up their vehicles, fishing gear, and reinforcing the anchorage area.

In Van Tuong commune, officers and soldiers of Binh Hai Border Guard Station were present at An Cuong beach, along with people of Phuoc Thien village, moving fishing boats and equipment ashore and storing fishing nets and gear.
In Minh Tan Nam village, Mo Cay commune, officers and soldiers of Duc Minh Border Guard Station instructed people to brace their houses, reinforce their roofs, and prepare for storms. Captain Vy Tuan Phong, Head of Binh Hai Border Guard Station, said: "The unit always considers helping people prevent and fight storms as an important task, contributing to minimizing damage and ensuring safety for people and boats."
In Dak Lak , Xuan Hoa Border Guard Station organized propaganda and disseminated information about storm No. 13 to fishermen and aquaculture cage owners in the area. Officers and soldiers announced weather forecasts, warnings of strong winds, big waves, heavy rain; guided the movement of boats and cages to safe anchorages and prepared necessary means and materials, raised awareness of natural disaster prevention, and implemented the "4 on-site" motto.

Proactive measures implemented include: At the Provincial Border Guard Command, 02 standing platoons were established to be ready to respond to storms when situations arise, fully prepare forces, means, and materials according to regulations, and ensure a smooth communication system. Proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a sea ban when a storm makes landfall in the area.
At sea-line units, maintain 100% of the required number of personnel, ensure adequate forces, means and materials as prescribed, be ready to perform tasks when necessary, proactively respond to storms according to the 4-on-the-spot principle; regularly monitor and grasp the direction of the storm, notify ship and boat owners and workers at sea to avoid the storm's dangerous areas to safe shelters. Review and grasp vulnerable areas at risk of high tides, flooding, flash floods, landslides and tornadoes; promptly advise local staff and forces to organize reinforcement, bracing and have plans to ensure safety for people in areas at risk of storms and post-storm circulation. Grasp the number of ships and boats at sea, cages and rafts for aquaculture; guide arrangements to ensure absolute safety, do not handle fishing boats going to sea and the number of workers on cages and rafts for aquaculture when the storm makes landfall in the area.
In addition, direct units to firmly grasp the system of border lines, landmarks, lakes and dams in the area that are at risk of being unsafe due to the impact of storms. Do a good job of bracing and shoring up houses and warehouses, trimming trees, ensuring smooth communication to be ready to support rescue and handle emergency situations; organize mobile propaganda throughout the area so that people can grasp information about the storm situation, thereby having timely preventive measures, in order to proactively protect people's lives and property. Stations, stations and working groups do a good job of ensuring readiness to welcome people in areas at risk of landslides, flooding, and high tides to take shelter from storms; be ready to fire signal flares to warn of storms when instructed by the Provincial Border Guard Command...
