On May 16, Binh Dinh held a ceremony to announce the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and support the improvement of housing for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives. According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Dinh province, in recent years, the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and supporting the construction and repair of houses for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives has always been focused on and directed by the Party Committee, the government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels of Binh Dinh province in association with the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" and the implementation of national target programs, ensuring that vulnerable groups, poor and near-poor households are always supported promptly and no one is left behind.

As of May 2025, the entire Binh Dinh province has started and completed the construction, repair and upgrading of houses for 4,411 households, reaching 100% of the set plan, 7 months ahead of schedule compared to the direction of the Prime Minister.

Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed the province's consistent view that socio-economic development must be associated with social security to ensure people's lives, especially the poor and those in difficult circumstances.

Binh Dinh Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung praised local leaders for their drastic and synchronous actions, regardless of difficulties; always identifying the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses as a top priority task, a special political task.
