Binh Duong breaks ground on 2 ecological industrial parks with a total area of ​​over 1,000 hectares

Cay Truong Industrial Park is located in Lai Uyen town and Cay Truong II commune, Bau Bang district with a scale of 700 hectares. The project has a total investment of 5,459 billion VND.

The project is invested in the model of an ecological, smart industrial park with many synchronous utilities including housing for experts, workers, human resource training center and green living space.

Once completed, the industrial park will prioritize attracting high-tech, environmentally friendly industries and is expected to create jobs for about 35,000 workers.

Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Cay Truong and Bau Bang Industrial Park expansion phase 2.

Bau Bang Industrial Park expansion phase 2, construction area of ​​380 hectares, built adjacent to the existing Bau Bang Industrial Park.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuan, General Director of Becamex IDC (investor) said that recently, Becamex has cooperated with the World Bank (WB) to conduct a pre-feasibility study and plan a roadmap for building an international eco-industrial park in Cay Truong and Bau Bang Industrial Parks.

"This is not only a green development strategy, but also creates a superior competitive advantage for businesses exporting to markets with high requirements on carbon emissions," Mr. Thuan emphasized.

At the groundbreaking ceremony of the two projects, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh presented the Prime Minister's decision on the establishment of Binh Duong Concentrated Information Technology Park.
