According to the organizers, high-quality press works are selected through 2 steps at the Base Selection Board and the Acceptance Review Council, scoring on a 10-point scale. Based on the amount of funding supported in 2022, the Provincial Journalists Association assigns targets to the branches and the Base Selection Board selects and sends the number of works to the Review and Acceptance Council.

Accordingly, the final jury received 32 works. As a result, 26 works from 48 authors and groups of authors were selected. Of these, 4 were radio works, 9 were television works, 9 were print works, and 5 were electronic works for financial support.
Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association of Binh Phuoc province Doan Nhu Vien highly appreciated the quality and quantity of press works in 2022. Notably, there were not only many high-quality press works of the province but also many works that won regional and central awards.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of Binh Phuoc Department of Information and Communications Nong Hong Thuc said that the works in 2022 are of higher quality and more elaborately invested, especially with high discovery and combativeness. He hopes that in 2023 there will be more quality works, especially works with in-depth investment.
The Organizing Committee awarded certificates and financial support including 7 A prizes, 10 B prizes and 9 C prizes in 4 journalism categories to 48 authors and groups of authors.
