(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the afternoon of May 27, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command held a conference to summarize the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization", building "Good mass mobilization units" for the period 2021-2025. Colonel Nguyen Xuan Toan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, chaired the conference; Colonel Thai Duc Hanh, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4 attended and directed the conference. Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

The emulation movement of "Skilled mass mobilization" and building "Good mass mobilization units" in the past 5 years has been thoroughly grasped and implemented by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command with many good and creative ways, achieving many practical results. Notably, the unit has coordinated well in propaganda and education work for cadres, soldiers and people to understand the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State. At the same time, the provincial armed forces have also actively participated in building excellent and strong party organizations, government, fronts and unions, consolidating a comprehensively strong local political base.

Actively coordinate and advise on the implementation of many programs and projects in the area with many good models, creative and effective methods. Supported and helped more than 520 disadvantaged households to escape poverty; organized training and coaching for key cadres, religious dignitaries and officials; opened ethnic language and ethnic knowledge classes for officers and soldiers working in mountainous districts. In particular, the Provincial Military Command has deployed the construction of 6 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models, donated to the "Day Fund for the Poor" with an amount of more than 2.8 billion VND. In addition, the Provincial Military Command also adopted and sponsored 128 children with an amount of nearly 1.1 billion VND; mobilized more than 10,500 officers and soldiers to participate in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, floods, forest fires, rescue and support for people affected by natural disasters and floods with an amount of 458 million VND. The effectiveness of this emulation movement has contributed to strengthening solidarity and consensus between officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces and local people.

Concluding the conference, the Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command emphasized: Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Party committees and commanders of agencies and units need to clearly recognize the position, role and importance of mass mobilization work and the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization"; continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's policies, contents, goals, targets and criteria for mass mobilization activities. Actively propagate and mobilize the people, ethnic minorities in localities in the province and cadres and soldiers to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels, especially the policy on implementing the Project on rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a 2-level local government organization model; deploy the rearrangement and adjustment of the organization of local military agencies. At the same time, actively help people eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; Proactively prevent, combat and overcome the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics; improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
