The Ministry of Public Security rewards many units for their outstanding achievements in solving bank robbery cases.

(LĐ online) - On the evening of February 9, Lam Dong Provincial Police organized a meeting program on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.

Comrade Tran Dinh Van - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of Lam Dong Provincial Police presented awards from the Ministry of Public Security to units with outstanding achievements in the bank robbery that occurred on February 7.

At the ceremony, Lam Dong Provincial Police announced the Ministry of Public Security's decision to commend 8 units for their outstanding achievements in quickly suppressing the bank robbery that occurred on the afternoon of February 7 in Duc Trong district.

With the outstanding achievements, quickly fighting and capturing the subject who used a gun to control and threaten the security guard and staff of Vietinbank - Duc Trong District Transaction Office to rob more than 3 billion VND; at the same time, confiscating 3.4 billion VND, 1 motorbike, and many other evidences, the Ministry of Public Security has decided to reward 8 groups.

Four units were awarded 20 million VND each, including: PC02 Department and Duc Trong District Police under Lam Dong Provincial Police; Department 6 under Department C02; Department 5 under Department A06.

Four units were awarded 15 million VND each, including: National Population Data Center under Department C06; Criminal Science Institute in Ho Chi Minh City under Department C09; PC09 Department and Criminal Police Team - Duc Trong District Police under Lam Dong Provincial Police.
