On this occasion, the delegation donated 70 tons of rice, food and necessities to help people overcome the current difficulties. This is also the second support in the relief program of the Ministry of Public Security, demonstrating the spirit of "Serving the People" to share difficulties and accompany people in flood-affected areas.

Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen emphasized that the Ministry of Public Security will continue to support large quantities of goods, food, and necessities for the provinces and cities in the Central region to overcome the consequences of the recent floods. The local police will organize small working groups to deliver the goods directly to the people, as General Secretary To Lam instructed, "no one should go hungry, cold, or without a place to live."

The representative receiving the relief goods, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, member of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, sent her thanks to the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security. After receiving the goods, the City Front will coordinate with the Hue City Police and communes and wards to urgently distribute the gifts to localities and deliver them to the people.

On the same day, many units in the People's Public Security force also sent gifts to Hue City such as: An Giang Provincial Police supported 40 tons of goods, food and necessities; Dong Thap Provincial Police supported 200 million VND; Tuyen Quang Provincial Police and Can Tho City Police sent many necessities and financial support.
