According to the plan, from July 1, Hanoi will organize the enrollment of 5-year-old preschool, grade 1 and grade 6 students for the 2025-2026 school year by the selection method according to the route prescribed and guided by the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities. However, from July 1, the new government apparatus after the city-wide arrangement will officially operate, while the enrollment plan for preschool, grade 1 and grade 6 has been approved before, many parents are worried that the enrollment organization may encounter some problems.
Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha affirmed that the goal set in organizing exams and admissions in the city in 2025 is to ensure progress and quality, without causing disruption or affecting students.

"Although the administrative unit has changed, Hanoi city still maintains the plan and time for organizing preschool, grade 1 and grade 6 enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year. The city assigned the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with the Department of Culture and Sports to strengthen communication with parents and students about this content," Ms. Ha emphasized.
Vice Chairman Ha requested that districts, towns and cities proactively review exam venues; carefully prepare conditions for organizing exams and enrollment, ensuring progress and quality. From now until July 1, members of the Steering Committee need to closely follow their tasks, promptly grasp emerging issues, and at the same time, forecast the situation well to promptly handle situations.
Hanoi still decided to maintain stable enrollment work according to previous instructions, specifically:

In addition to enrollment from kindergarten to secondary school, Hanoi will have two major exams taking place in June: the public 10th grade entrance exam and the 2025 high school graduation exam.
