TOS-1 Solntsepek is a flamethrower system mounted on a tank chassis. This heavy flamethrower uses 220mm rockets with thermobaric warheads. Solntsepek is designed to attack enemy forces, vehicles and fortifications.

Minister Shoigu also emphasized the important role of TOS on the battlefield in providing fire support to Russian infantry units.

Mr Shoigu also told the defense company's management that defense orders must be fulfilled on schedule.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry , Shoigu's defense company (which was not named) has increased production output several times over the past few months, with technical solutions allowing for improved hardware quality and faster production.

Minister Shoigu also demanded that new military equipment should be able to better protect the crew on the battlefield, as well as protect the vehicle from any threats.

Major General Alexander Shestakov, head of the Armored Directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry, told General Shoigu that a reserve of armor modules such as Krysha has been established for tanks fighting in Ukraine.

A video released by the Russian Defense Ministry of the visit also showed dozens of tanks loaded onto trains ready for shipment to Ukraine, as well as armored personnel carriers, howitzers and other weapons.
