Ministry of National Defense donates gratitude houses to martyrs' families

STO - On the morning of June 3, the Military Command of Soc Trang province held a ceremony to hand over a house of gratitude from the Ministry of National Defense to Mr. Lam Hoang Danh, born in 1958, a martyr's family with difficult housing circumstances, residing in Hoa Tan hamlet, Hoa Tu 1 commune, My Xuyen district (Soc Trang).

The level 4 house, built with an area of ​​about ^70m2 ; corrugated iron roof, tiled floor, worth about 300 million VND; of which, the Ministry of National Defense supported 80 million VND (from the Ministry of National Defense's Gratitude Fund), the rest was contributed by the family.

At the handover ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Dang Thanh Nhanh - Deputy Chief of Politics of the Soc Trang Provincial Military Command said that over the years, the Party, State and Army have always paid attention to the work of military rear policies, aiming to promote the fine tradition of preserving the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source, repay gratitude" of the nation. At the same time, he hoped that Mr. Lam Hoang Danh and his family would always uphold the revolutionary tradition, educate their children and grandchildren to promote the family tradition, contribute with the local Party Committee and government to maintain political security, social order and safety, actively work and produce, together with the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army to successfully achieve the goal of "Rich people, strong country, democratic, equitable and civilized society".
