Urgently organize planning, planning of Phu My Industrial - Urban - Service Park

Also attending were leaders of provincial departments, branches and leaders of People's Committees of relevant districts and cities.

Phu My Industrial Park - Urban - Service is one of the industrial parks in the Soc Trang Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, and has been approved by the Prime Minister. The planned location of the industrial park is in Dai Tam commune (My Xuyen district), Phu My (My Tu district), An Ninh (Chau Thanh district) and Ward 10 (Soc Trang city), Soc Trang province. The planned scale is 1,500 hectares, of which 1,125 hectares are industrial park land and 375 hectares are urban - service land. The nature of the industrial park is multi-industry, prioritizing the attraction of automobile and machine tool manufacturing and assembly industries.

According to the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, the time to start organizing the planning task is from July 1, 2025, completing the approval of the planning task on July 10, 2025 (implementation time is 10 days). The time to start organizing the planning and announcement is from July 11, 2025 to August 30, 2025 to approve the planning (implementation time is 50 days, of which the time to select a planning consultant is 23 days). It is expected to select an infrastructure investor from August 31, 2025 to September 15, 2025, submitting for approval of the investor selection on September 15, 2025.

Discussing at the meeting, delegates provided more information on the legal basis, budget estimates, implementation time of each task, coordination between provincial and local departments and agencies in the Planning of Phu My Industrial Park - Urban - Service Area...

Concluding the meeting, comrade Tran Van Lau emphasized that the investment in construction and operation of Phu My Industrial Park - Urban - Service is necessary and meaningful because it contributes to job creation and income generation for the people. He agreed with the expected timelines set by the Industrial Park Management Board in the implementation of planning and planning of the Industrial Park. Thereby, he assigned the Industrial Park Management Board to urgently deploy tasks according to the expected time, and at the same time develop detailed plans and timelines for specific tasks of each department, branch and locality for monitoring. Heads of departments, branches and localities must proactively carry out tasks within their authority as soon as possible to ensure the progress of planning, appraising and approving the planning tasks and planning of Phu My Industrial Park - Urban - Service as planned, without delay, so that the Industrial Park can be built soon, contributing to promoting the socio -economic development of the locality.
