Under the harsh midday sun, Mr. Huynh Van Son in Tan Quoi A Hamlet, Ward 2, Nga Nam Town, still nimbly shoveled sand into the concrete mixer. After finishing his work, he busied himself stacking bricks and bringing them to the construction workers. Mr. Son said that since the start of the house construction, every day after feeding the chickens and ducks, he and his wife helped the construction team to complete the house soon. Wiping the sweat from his face, he smiled brightly: "For more than ten years, my family has lived in a small, makeshift corrugated iron house. Every rainy season, we are afraid that the roof will be blown off or the house will leak. Life is so difficult, we can only worry about food and clothes. Even though the house is dilapidated, we don't have money to repair it, so we never thought we would ever build a new house. But now, thanks to the care and support of the local government, our family has a new, neat house. We feel happy and extremely grateful."

Ms. Giau is a poor household, with special difficulties in housing, no land for production, and income mainly from weaving water hyacinth and working for hire. After settling down in the new house, Ms. Giau's family members were happy, excited, and focused on working to develop the economy .
