Ministry of Health abolishes circular regulating bidding for medical equipment

The Ministry of Health has just issued Circular 08/TT-BYT abolishing a number of legal documents issued by the Minister of Health.

In Circular 08, effective from April 14, 2023, the Minister of Health abolished all three legal documents issued by the Minister of Health: Circular No. 03/2016/TT-BYT dated January 21, 2016 of the Minister of Health regulating the business of medicinal materials; Circular No. 31/2019/TT-BYT dated December 5, 2019 of the Minister of Health regulating requirements for fresh milk products used in the School Milk Program; Circular No. 14/2020/TT-BYT dated July 10, 2020 of the Minister of Health regulating a number of contents in bidding for medical equipment at public health facilities.

For medical equipment bidding packages whose contractor selection plans have been approved before the effective date of the circular, the unit may continue to implement according to the provisions of Circular No. 14/2020/TT-BYT dated July 10, 2020 of the Minister of Health stipulating a number of contents in bidding for medical equipment at public medical facilities or carry out procedures to adjust related contents according to current regulations on bidding./.
