In his opening speech, Major General Nguyen Van Chinh emphasized that in the current period, information technology is developing day by day, hour by hour, playing an increasingly important role in all social activities and is a key factor determining the quality and efficiency of work.
Implementing the Government's resolutions on building an e-Government, the Ministry of National Defense has been resolutely implementing the Digital Transformation Project until 2025, with a vision to 2030. In particular, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on "Breakthrough in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation" is a document of strategic significance, as General Secretary To Lam affirmed, determining the direction for Vietnam in the digital age.

To promptly implement the Resolution of the Politburo, on January 29, 2025, the Central Military Commission issued Resolution No. 3488-NQ/QUTW and on April 23, 2025, the Steering Committee on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation issued Plan No. 3760/KH-BCĐ to implement the "Digital Education for the People" Movement in the Army.
These directives aim to create a strong breakthrough in thinking, administrative reform, and popularization of digital knowledge and skills for officers and soldiers. From January 1, 2025 to May 20, 2025, the entire army issued thousands of documents, of which the digital signature rate increased by nearly 60% compared to the same period in 2024.

During the 1-week training course, students will be equipped with basic information technology skills according to Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BTTTT, including using computers, operating systems, office tools, regulations on drafting documents, connecting and using secure military data networks, knowledge of electronic documents and archives, the Ministry of National Defense's Document Management and Operation System, and some AI applications in office work.
In addition, there are also extracurricular activities to improve understanding, create connections between students, and link extracurricular content with training programs.

In order for the training course to achieve its set goals, Major General Nguyen Van Chinh requested that the Course Organizing Committee closely coordinate with the Information Officer School to ensure the best in all aspects for the students and maintain strict discipline.
Lecturers impart knowledge, practical experience, and provide specific practice instructions so that students can grasp the knowledge firmly.
For students, it is necessary to strictly follow the regulations, focus on studying, be determined to achieve the highest results, apply the knowledge learned into practical work, contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of tasks at the agency or unit.
