After 50 years of construction and development, the petroleum industry of Military Region 9 has made steady progress. The staff, soldiers and employees of the industry have always fulfilled their tasks of ensuring petroleum for training activities, combat readiness and regular and unexpected tasks. At the same time, the industry has also actively contributed to building infrastructure, developing a system of warehouses and petroleum stations in a standardized and modern direction.

Delegates attended the meeting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Petroleum Department (Logistics and Engineering Department of Military Region 9).

In the current period, facing increasingly high task requirements, officers, soldiers and employees of the industry continue to strive to compete, successfully complete all targets, contributing to the overall achievements of the Logistics - Engineering Department and the armed forces of the Military Region.

Promoting the 50-year tradition, the Petroleum Department continues to closely follow the task situation, proactively advise the Party Committee, the Military Region Command and relevant agencies to ensure adequate and timely supply of petroleum, materials and technical equipment to serve training tasks, combat readiness and building a strong armed force. The industry also promotes research, initiatives, technical improvements, application of science and technology, digital transformation in the work of ensuring and managing petroleum, improving the quality of drills, competitions and specialized training. The emulation movement "Managing and using petroleum safely, economically and effectively" continues to be maintained in a disciplined manner, going into depth, closely following the emulation content and practical requirements of each agency and unit.
