In Nghia Lo ward, Quang Ngai province, BSR General Director Nguyen Viet Thang visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, families of martyrs and people with revolutionary contributions in the ward. In a solemn and warm atmosphere, Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang expressed his deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of previous generations.
“As a generation that lives in peace and enjoys the achievements of our ancestors, we - BSR workers - will forever remember their great contributions. Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, and people with revolutionary contributions are shining examples of patriotism, indomitability, and sacrifice for national independence,” BSR General Director Nguyen Viet Thang emotionally shared.
At the program, BSR presented 200 gifts worth a total of 100 million VND to policy families in Nghia Lo ward. This is part of the total budget of more than 1.4 billion VND that the Company spent to organize gratitude activities nationwide on this occasion, with more than 620 million VND in Quang Ngai province alone.
In Truong Quang Trong ward, Quang Ngai province, Mr. Khuong Le Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, on behalf of the Company, visited and presented gifts to policy families in Truong Quang Trong ward. Sending warm regards to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and wounded and sick soldiers, Mr. Khuong Le Thanh affirmed: "BSR employees always keep in mind the great contributions of generations who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation. Today's gifts are sincere feelings, expressing the gratitude and responsibility of the enterprise towards the community".
At the gift-giving ceremony, the BSR delegation encouraged the spirit, listened to the families' thoughts and expressed their wishes that the mothers, uncles, and aunts of war invalids and sick soldiers would always be healthy, continue to be a valuable spiritual support for today's generation and continue to make many contributions to socio-economic development.
Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company is a member of Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group, currently operating Dung Quat Oil Refinery - a national key energy project. After more than 15 years of operation, BSR has processed more than 100 million tons of crude oil, achieved revenue of nearly 1.74 million billion VND, paid nearly 238 trillion VND to the budget and after-tax profit of more than 52.1 trillion VND.
In just the first 6 months of 2025, BSR produced 3.84 million tons of products (16% higher than the plan), achieved revenue of VND 69,461 billion (22% higher than the plan), pre-tax profit of about VND 800 billion (95% higher than the plan) and paid to the budget more than VND 7,300 billion (13% higher than the plan). In addition to ensuring the supply of gasoline for the economy, BSR also produces specialized fuels for national defense and security, such as fuel for submarines, fighter jets, and naval ships - contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands and national security.
Accompanying the socio-economic development, BSR always considers social security work as a regular task, demonstrating responsibility to the community. Throughout the development process, the Company has implemented hundreds of volunteer programs, supporting healthcare, education, disaster relief, building charity houses,... with a total budget of nearly 1,000 billion VND.
