(Dan Tri) - Editor Quoc Khanh - MC of the programs "Weekend Appointment", "Weekend Meeting" - officially left the Sports Department after 5 years of working together.

Recently, the leadership of Vietnam Television (VTV) has assigned Editor Quoc Khanh to take on the role of Deputy Director of VTV Digital. Thus, after 5 years of being responsible for the main content of sports programs, especially Prime Time Sports , Editor Quoc Khanh will leave this department.

Even though he left the Sports Department, VTV audiences still met BTV Quoc Khanh on television as the MC of the show Meet at the Weekend.

Editor Quoc Khanh told Dan Tri reporter that he made the decision in early March. For him, this is a task in the agency so there is not much to share.

Previously, he was Deputy Head of the Sports Department, so his new position is equivalent, not a promotion as everyone said.

After that, he left his mark through programs such as: Sports 24/7, 7-day Sports Impressions, 24-hour Movement, Weekend Appointment, Sports Golden Hour...

In particular, the Sports Prime Time , for which he is responsible for content, broadcast at 8:30 p.m. on VTV1, is highly regarded for its professionalism and is loved by many viewers with the highest viewership rate on national television.

The program focuses on major events such as SEA Games, ASEAN Cup, ASIAD, Olympics, EURO, World Cup, V.League…

Editor Quoc Khanh once shared: "We always want to have better programs. In the era of media and social networks developing with different trends, besides what we already have, we hope to have better transmissions to the audience. The program will always be on the upward trend.

The new show will have a bigger social media engagement than the other shows. Before, after each show, I would look at the reactions from the social media audience, looking at the positive and negative comments.

Among them, I found that there were profound comments on social networks. We still use those comments selectively and not publicly, but now we will use those comments publicly to attract more audience interaction."

Over the past 5 years, BTV Quoc Khanh has left an impression with his handsome appearance and calm, confident, witty but also profound hosting style.
