Ca Mau accompanies businesses: Breakthrough from reform and investment confidence

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of October 26, the 2025 Business Forum with the theme "Enterprises accompanying - Ca Mau development" was held by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, with the participation of nearly 400 delegates who are businesses and investors inside and outside the province.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Pham Van Thieu , Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, emphasized that this is a special event, of great significance to the socio -economic development of Ca Mau province in the coming time, especially for the province's socio-economic growth target of reaching double digits.

He requested to continue to synchronously complete planning work, promote administrative procedure reform , and aim to build a transparent, safe, and favorable investment environment . According to him, this is a key condition to help strengthen trust and encourage businesses and investors to stay with Ca Mau for a long time.

Through this Forum, the leaders of Ca Mau province hope that all businesses across the country will know Ca Mau province through the image of land, water, and people of Ca Mau, which are affectionate and imbued with the Southern character; at the same time, will receive a wave of investment from businesses and investors on the "Four Pillars" of investment attraction of the province.

Speaking at the forum, Mr. Huynh Chi Nguyen , Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highlighted the strategic advantages of Ca Mau : its position as a national aquaculture center aiming at international level; great potential for renewable energy ; a green economic model associated with the mangrove ecosystem ; and a transport and logistics infrastructure that is being heavily invested in with Hon Khoai General Port, Ca Mau Airport and inter-regional expressways. He affirmed that business development is the key driving force to promote the province's economic growth, towards a sustainable and inclusive growth model.

At the forum, representatives of business associations, entrepreneurs and the Young Entrepreneurs Club discussed in depth the province's development orientation in the fields of energy, fisheries, transport infrastructure and industrial parks , and proposed many solutions to effectively exploit resources, attract investment and improve local competitiveness.

A highlight of the event was the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association , opening up new cooperation opportunities in investment promotion, innovation and start-up support. On this occasion, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association sponsored 5 billion VND to build toilets and clean water filtration systems for schools in the province, a meaningful humanitarian activity, demonstrating the spirit of entrepreneurship associated with social responsibility.

In order to recognize and honor the contributions of the business community, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 20 enterprises with outstanding achievements in economic development and social security of the province.
