When electronic medical records are successfully implemented, patients do not have to store and carry all kinds of documents when going to the doctor. Electronic medical records help manage health information continuously and throughout people's lives, helping people be more proactive in disease prevention and treatment, while reducing waiting time and cumbersome procedures for patients and their families.
Patients do not have to worry about losing test results or being confused when reading the doctor's handwriting. Electronic medical records also provide information and clinical data quickly and promptly between medical examination and treatment facilities. When information about the patient's health is communicated between levels, it will help diagnose and coordinate treatment better.
