This exhibition is the final stop in the series of Jinju silk lantern exhibitions in Southeast Asia under the cultural exchange project "Touring K-Arts" of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea. This is a project to introduce the beauty of Korean art and culture to the world, jointly implemented by Korean Cultural Centers abroad and Jinju City with the support of the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE).
Previously, the exhibition was successfully held in the Philippines in May and Indonesia in August.

The exhibition space at the Korean Cultural Center in Hanoi includes the “Jinju silk lantern light tunnel”, the “Jinju silk lantern light wall” and areas for taking photos with Jinju silk lanterns and promoting Jinju city created by nearly 1,300 colorful Jinju silk lanterns.
During the exhibition, the Korean Cultural Center also organizes many different experiential activities for visitors such as making Korean lanterns, writing wish trees, etc.

On this occasion, from November 8, the Korean Cultural Center also organizes a free "Hanbok Day" program every Saturday for the capital's residents to experience the beauty of traditional Korean costumes with Jinju silk lamps and enjoy beautiful moments with relatives and friends in a space imbued with Korean culture.
Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam Choi Seung Jin said: The exhibition "Korean Light: Jinju Silk Lamp" has received the attention and attraction of many people in the Philippines and Indonesia before, so I am very proud that the Jinju silk lamp exhibition is held in Vietnam this time. I hope that people will feel the colors and brilliant beauty of Korea through the Jinju silk lamps; at the same time, I also hope that people will see that the Korean Cultural Center is a special cultural exchange space - a place where Vietnamese and Korean cultures intersect through "light".
