Over the past 100 years, the Vietnam University of Fine Arts has become the cradle of many generations of painters, sculptors, and art teachers who have contributed to creating the appearance of modern Vietnamese fine arts.

At the sharing session, MSc. Pham Thi Thanh Tu, Party Secretary, President of the Board of Directors of Vietnam University of Fine Arts, said: “Over the course of a century, the school has trained tens of thousands of artists, teachers, and fine arts researchers, many of whom have been awarded the title of People's Artist, Meritorious Artist by the State; and have received the Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize for Literature and Arts.”

Accordingly, the key activities include: The 100th Anniversary of the Indochina College of Fine Arts; receiving the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister and the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Celebration and gratitude ceremony for generations of artists, teachers and students; launching the publication: 100-year mark - Indochina College of Fine Arts - Vietnam University of Fine Arts; announcing the Documentary: Vietnam University of Fine Arts 100-year journey; and exhibition activities.

Also at the sharing session, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Nghia Phuong, representative of the school's Board of Directors, said that there will be 3 special exhibitions, marking important milestones in the school's educational journey: "100+" exhibition displaying typical specialized articles of students of the Faculty of Painting; Exhibition of 100 years of modern Vietnamese fine arts; International exhibition of Vietnam University of Fine Arts and friends.
