Cam Giang, "hot above, cold below" ensures traffic order and safety

Comrade Pham Chi Hieu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, requested Cam Giang district to strengthen the handling of violations of traffic safety and order in the area, especially violations that are the main causes of traffic accidents.

On the morning of July 25, the working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the leadership, direction and organization of traffic safety and order in Cam Giang district.
In the first 6 months of 2024, Cam Giang district had 51 traffic accidents and collisions (including the number of accidents on National Highway 5 and National Highway 38 through Cam Giang district), killing 14 people and injuring 41 people. Compared to the same period in 2023, there were 38 more cases, 5 more deaths and 36 more injuries. On the routes managed by Cam Giang District Police, there were 19 traffic accidents, killing 7 people and injuring 19 people.

Concluding the working session, comrade Pham Chi Hieu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, suggested that Cam Giang district should mobilize the entire political system to participate, not allowing the situation of "hot above, cold below" to occur in the work of ensuring traffic safety. Be more determined in directing and operating, creating changes in awareness and action, building programs and plans associated with inspection and evaluation of the implementation of traffic safety tasks.

Cam Giang district is the last locality in the inspection by the Provincial People's Committee on leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of tasks to ensure traffic order and safety in the first 6 months of 2024 in 4 districts and towns with high traffic accidents.
