The victory is full of courage, sacrifice, bravery, intelligence and talent. The victory combines the strength of the nation with the times, the conscience of humanity around the world and progressive friends near and far.

Contributing to the overall victory of the whole country, after 21 years of fighting against the US, the army and people of Gia Lai under the leadership of the Party overcame hardships and sacrifices, achieved glorious feats of arms, contributing to the liberation of the province and the South. After 50 years since the great victory, many changes have taken place in the homeland of brilliant feats of arms: Road 7 of the Bo River, Plei Me, Cheo Reo-Phu Bon...; with heroic names such as: Dinh Nup, Tran Van Binh, A Sanh, Kpa Klong, Kpa O...

Together with the whole country, Gia Lai joined hands to overcome the consequences of war, clear bombs and mines, restore security and order; restore production, carry out agricultural cooperativization, develop production; eliminate FULRO; enthusiastically carry out the renovation and international integration. Every task is difficult and complicated, but in return, the results are more proud, more glorious, and more confident in the journey forward of the locality and the nation.

To recreate the heroic atmosphere of 50 years ago, affirming the strength of Vietnam, the achievements of the socialist-oriented market economy, especially after nearly 40 years of renovation and international integration, many months ago, the whole country focused on commemorative activities, focusing on the celebration taking place in Ho Chi Minh City. The image of each train and vehicle carrying cadres and soldiers heading to the South, wherever they went, they were welcomed and welcomed by the people, no different from before. They quickly appeared, gathered in formation with the forces to practice, practice together, rehearse, rehearse and do other preparations, every day, every minute attracting the attention of the people of the whole country.

International friends and tourists on this occasion also gave us sincere and deep feelings. And, how impressive the image of soldiers in neat, solemn formations, full of spirit, radiant with charisma in the city named after Uncle Ho. An emotional, romantic, surprisingly beautiful image of soldiers, of glorious events!

Along with that atmosphere, all over the country, more and more houses, shops, and alleys are decorated with the national flag and the Party flag. Exhibitions of the spirit of victory and the desire for peace also appeared for the first time. Films about revolutionary wars were eagerly welcomed. The trend and response to the great victory day of the youth is impressive not only in terms of costumes, art, hobbies, and habits, but also in the depth of gratitude and belief in a bright future for the nation.

In celebration of the country's major event, Gia Lai has recently organized many meaningful and enthusiastic response activities. After the solemn 50th anniversary of the province's Liberation Day (March 17), a series of activities, events, projects, and tasks of sectors, localities, agencies, and units in the province have also taken place, such as: paying tribute to families with meritorious services, war invalids, and martyrs; organizing a journey to the source; meeting those who directly participated in the liberation of the province and the Ho Chi Minh Campaign in 1975; cultural, artistic, and sports events, etc.

If in the victory speech presented by the late General Secretary Le Duan 50 years ago, the great victory in the spring of 1975 opened a new era in the history of the nation: peace, independence, unity, and advancement to socialism, then from the end of 2024, General Secretary To Lam pointed out that the new era - the era of national development - began from the 14th National Party Congress. Our Party defines the new era as the era of development, the era of prosperity, the era of prosperity.
