On an area of 6 sao of reclaimed sandy soil, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quy (village 2, Ha Tam commune, Dak Po district) has had a stable income from growing passion fruit. To achieve this result, in mid-2024, he was given a loan of 30 million VND by the District People's Credit Fund to develop production. Thanks to the investment capital, his passion fruit garden has developed well and started to be harvested every 2 days. With a selling price of 17,000 VND/kg, the family earns more than 1 million VND/day.

Mr. Quy shared: “Previously, my family planted many different types of trees but they were not very effective. Thanks to the capital from the District People's Council Fund, I learned from experience, improved the land and invested in buying seeds and materials to grow passion fruit. Up to now, the passion fruit garden has been harvested, bringing a stable income for the family.”

Thanks to the loan from Mang Yang District Farmers' Association Fund, Ms. Duong Thi My Trang's family (Dak Ta Ley commune) has invested to improve the productivity and quality of their coffee garden.

“I have 1 hectare of coffee that is entering the business phase. Previously, due to lack of capital, investment in care was limited. After accessing capital from the Farmers’ Association Fund, I borrowed 50 million VND to invest in fertilizer and care for the garden. Thanks to that, this year’s coffee crop promises to be a bumper crop,” Trang said excitedly.

By the end of the first quarter of 2025, the total capital of the People's Credit Fund in the province reached more than 67 billion VND, of which the Central Association's entrusted source was 10 billion VND, the rest was from the provincial and district levels and mobilized members' contributions. To date, 537 production and business plans of more than 2,000 member households have been disbursed with a total outstanding debt of more than 63.8 billion VND.

In particular, many grassroots organizations have mobilized the support of members to contribute funds to build a fund with a growth rate of hundreds of millions of VND each year, while developing the fund to the commune level.

Ms. Huong Thi Thu Dao - President of Dak Ta Ley Commune Farmers' Association - said: "When we have funds, we select and survey the needs and actual conditions of members to have a loan plan. Farmers' Association officials of communes organize to evaluate each case through the opinions of the Party cell secretary and village chief to select households to borrow. Along with that, we propagate and guide households to borrow so that people can use the capital for the right purpose and achieve efficiency."

Up to now, 100% of Association bases have self-mobilized funds to help farmer members develop production."

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Y Kham - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association - emphasized: The Provincial Farmers' Association determined to focus on improving the quality of project appraisal, strengthening supervision of capital use; at the same time, coordinating with credit institutions and enterprises to expand resources to support farmers.

In 2025, from the recovered revolving capital, there will be 18 projects with a total cost of more than 9.2 billion VND implemented in localities. The projects and plans supported by loan capital are mainly applied to large-scale, high-quality livestock and crop farming.
