Traffic Police Department Command Information Center.
More than 10 officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Department and other units are on duty, divided into shifts, ensuring the Center operates 24/7.
Major General Do Thanh Binh, Director of the Traffic Police Department, emphasized that this is an AI camera that automatically detects and sends notifications of violations within 2 hours. With AI cameras, traffic police do not need to go out on the street to stop and arrest vehicles for many violations, the detection of violations is done automatically, fairly and objectively.
In order for the Center to operate well, Major General Do Thanh Binh said that it is gradually perfecting it to have "correct, sufficient, clean, and live" data. From there, it will connect different types of data and analyze and use the data.
Colonel Pham Quang Huy, Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department, said the Command Information Center will fully meet state management requirements in the traffic sector, including connecting vehicle registration data, inspection, tax, customs, health and data from other professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security related to people and vehicles.
In terms of scale, this will be a central hub connecting small centers from localities, including data from all professional equipment of the entire traffic police force.
Data from the devices, after being sent to the center, will be analyzed by the AI system to identify behavior, then automatically transferred to the management file. The traffic police force will then transfer the fastest violation information to the vehicle owner via the VNeTraffic application.
The center operates 24/7.
For AI cameras, after recording a vehicle violation, the system immediately extracts related photos/clips. The content includes: Route, time of violation, behavior... Based on the vehicle registration database, the vehicle owner will be immediately identified. Currently, AI can identify about 20 violations, which are being continuously developed, including cars and motorbikes.
From now on, the police can be considered as patrolling in the electronic environment, with the goal of ensuring the security, health, life and property of the people above all, first and foremost," Colonel Pham Quang Huy emphasized.
In addition to monitoring violations, the center also manages the entire traffic police force during patrols. Through the digital map system, it is possible to see where officers and soldiers work, and track the names, badge numbers, and phone numbers of officers working at that location.
At the same time, the center also controls all traffic police patrol vehicles, including information fields on the number of vehicles in operation, the status of handling violations as well as which topics are being deployed, which routes... From here, coordination can be made in case of an emergency that needs to be resolved as quickly as possible.
Another task of the center is to support the investigation and settlement of traffic accidents, automatically detect acts that disrupt public order, cause public disorder, and gather crowds, and identify the faces of wanted criminals.
The entire coordination, analysis, recording and processing work of the center is completely automated, aiming to make records and pay fines online, violators do not need to go to the police headquarters.
In addition, through the VNeTraffic application, the Traffic Police Department considers it a communication tool between the traffic police and the people. Currently, the VNeTraffic application has 4 main features: Reading information about traffic safety, drivers can check the route, the direction of upcoming incidents, congestion; look up information about violations through license plates; information about license plate auctions; people can provide information and images of traffic violations on the routes. From here, the police will verify and process the data.
