The Departmentof Education and Training of Da Nang city has issued a document guiding the reception of students from Quang Nam province transferring schools and enrolling.
This was directed in the context of implementing the merger of Quang Nam province and Da Nang city into a new administrative unit, named Da Nang city, with the political and administrative center located in Da Nang city today.

The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City has directed primary, secondary and high schools to proactively receive students transferred from Quang Nam Province. Priority will be given to students who are children of officials, civil servants and public employees who are transferred, rotated or accepted to work at agencies and units after the merger.
To facilitate students in the process of transferring schools, schools receive digital transcripts printed from the management software of the transferring school, with full information and the principal's signature.
Subject teacher signatures are not required in transcripts printed from the school's management software. In case further verification of information is needed, schools will proactively contact the place where the student is transferring from.
Students must be placed in schools that are suitable for their facilities, class size and teaching staff. Priority is given to schools near the parents' residence or place of work.
The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City emphasized that it is absolutely forbidden to refuse to accept students who are under the direction of the City People's Committee.
Schools summarize the situation of receiving transferred students and report to the Department of Education and Training for management before July 31.
Previously, on May 13, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee, also issued a document directing the Department of Education and Training to develop a plan to receive children of officials, civil servants and public employees of Quang Nam province.
The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang city also issued an official dispatch to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training of Quang Nam province to compile statistics on the learning needs of children of officials, civil servants and public employees expected to work in Da Nang.
