The Mazda CX-30 compact crossover gets a facelift for 2026 with some styling and equipment upgrades. However, the price also gets a slight increase, starting at $25,975, nearly $800 more than the previous model. In the standard CX-30 2.5 S upgraded for 2026, Mazda added a limited-slip differential to increase traction, along with a fine-tuned shock absorber system to improve smoothness.
The 2.5 S Select Sport ($27,660) now gets heated synthetic leather front seats, an eight-way power driver's seat, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, and memory-positioned exterior mirrors with reverse assist. The 2026 Mazda CX-30 2.5 S Preferred ($29,290) upgrades from an 8.8-inch screen to a 10.25-inch one, and adds wireless phone charging. The highlight of this upgrade is the CX-30 2.5 S Aire Edition ($29,850), which builds on the Preferred trim. The vehicle has a distinctive exterior with glossy black badging, black roof rails and side mirrors, and dark 18-inch wheels.
The interior is a contrasting style with white synthetic leather seats, gray fabric and faux suede details. Meanwhile, the 2.5 S Carbon Edition retains the same design, while the 2.5 S Premium adds a heated steering wheel and a 360-degree camera system. All versions of the 2026 Mazda CX-30 are equipped with a 2.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, 186 horsepower, 252 Nm torque, 6-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4-wheel drive. The turbocharged engine lineup has also been streamlined. The 2.5 Carbon Turbo and 2.5 Premium Turbo have been replaced by the Turbo Aire Edition ($34,410), which uses a 2.5L turbocharged engine with 250 horsepower and 433 Nm of torque.
In the highest segment, the Mazda CX-30 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus version costs 37,900 USD, an increase of 750 USD compared to the previous generation, with the only new point being the glossy black logo set. Standard safety features include adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, smart brake support, automatic high beams, and lane departure warning with lane keep assist. It also comes with rear occupant alert, exit warning, and blind spot monitoring.
