BPO - On the afternoon of May 7, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh and Le Truong Son chaired a meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to approve the report on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in April and set out directions and tasks for May 2025. Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

According to the report, the socio -economic situation in April of Binh Phuoc province was stable and developed in most areas. Industrial production maintained a high growth rate; trade and export activities increased sharply compared to the same period; agricultural production continued to be stable.

By the end of April, the total state budget revenue in the province was over VND5,238 billion, reaching 50.59% of the estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance ; total budget expenditure was over VND5,547 billion, reaching 36.06% of the estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance. In addition, the whole province has disbursed nearly VND793 billion in public investment capital. The province has also started construction of component projects of the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project, Western section, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc).

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien suggested that localities and related units need to have many solutions to increase the rate of communes meeting new rural standards and the rate of disbursement of public investment capital in the coming time.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien emphasized: In the first 4 months of the year, Binh Phuoc has developed in a positive direction. Some areas such as business, attracting domestic and foreign investment, and agricultural economy have grown rapidly. At the same time, he requested that localities and related units have many solutions to increase the rate of communes meeting new rural standards and the rate of disbursement of public investment capital in the coming time.
