Conference delegates

In the first months of the year, all levels of the association and veteran members in the province continued to demonstrate solidarity, maintain and promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, set an example, and actively participate in socio -economic development.

Mr. Huynh Van Nuoc, Chairman of the Veterans Association of Binh Phuoc province, spoke at the conference.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the association at all levels organized many practical activities such as: returning to the source with more than 1,900 participants; talking about traditions with more than 58,000 participants; repaying gratitude with a total value of more than 95 million VND; organizing regular visits and giving gifts to members with a total value of 456 million VND; actively helping each other reduce poverty, develop the economy, take care of members' lives, contributing to poverty reduction, job creation, and social security in the locality. By the end of April 2025, the total outstanding debt entrusted by the Social Policy Bank was over 970 billion VND. In the first months of 2025, the association of veterans in the province eliminated 18 temporary houses, worth nearly 1.8 billion VND...

The opinions and discussions at the conference contributed to highlighting the results achieved and pointing out the limitations in the activities of the veterans' associations at all levels in the province. Delegates also listened to a number of contents on the organization and arrangement of the apparatus according to the policy of merging the provincial and communal levels and not organizing at the district level.
