Can Tho has a female Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, Secretary of Thot Not District Party Committee, was elected Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Council, term X, 2021 - 2026.

On the afternoon of December 9, at the 18th session, the People's Council of Can Tho city, term X, 2021 - 2026, elected the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho city.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, new Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, Secretary of Thot Not District Party Committee, was elected Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with 50/52 votes (96.15%).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep was born in 1974, hometown Ca Mau province; professional qualifications: Bachelor of English, University of Law; advanced political theory; senior expert state management qualification.

Previously, Ms. Diep was the Deputy Chief Inspector of Can Tho City. In March 2021, she was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Can Tho City.

In April 2023, she was appointed as Secretary of the Thot Not District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Thus, Can Tho currently has 4 vice chairmen of the city People's Committee including: Mr. Duong Tan Hien, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc He, Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep.
