Although the rain and floods of the past few days have just temporarily subsided, according to the latest forecast from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the coming days, due to the influence of increased cold air activity, combined with the tropical convergence zone with an axis maintained through the Central Central region and East wind disturbances operating in the upper atmosphere at altitudes from 1,500-5,000m, from now until November 4, there will continue to be widespread heavy rain in the Central provinces.
In particular, from the night of November 1 to November 4, there may be moderate to heavy rain concentrated in the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai.
Although the rainfall intensity is not forecast to be as extreme as the period from October 27-29, the expected rainfall is still large enough to cause new flooding risks on rivers from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai and re-flooding in low-lying areas.
