The road to Nuoc Vuong village, Son Tay Thuong commune was buried by rocks and mud after the landslide, making travel almost paralyzed. Villagers gathered together to cut bamboo, weave them into sturdy bamboo mats, and cover the sunken, muddy sections of the road.
By the afternoon of October 31, a 10-meter-long bamboo road had been completed. These bamboo panels have become a “temporary road” for people to travel while the landslide situation has not been completely resolved.

According to the report of the Irrigation Department of Quang Ngai province, due to floods, in Son Tay Thuong commune, there are 8 landslide routes, including Truong Son Dong road through Nuoc Niem residential area, Nuoc Tang village; Intra-regional road to Mang Lay residential area, Nuoc Vuong village; Commune road DX 05 from provincial road 623 to Mang Ray residential area; Commune road from provincial road 623 to Nuoc Long residential area; Truong Son Dong road to Mo Goc residential area - Nuoc Min village; Truong Son Dong road to Tu Ngoc residential area - Huy Em village; Commune center road from Plant Protection Station to Quan Thanh Nhan; Road from Truong Son Dong road to Thanh Nien Lap Nghiep village, Mang He village.
