(Chinhphu.vn) - Prolonged heavy rains caused the Thu Bon River water level to rise above the historical flood level, causing deep flooding in the ancient town of Hoi An. When the floodwaters receded, the entire ancient town was littered with mud and garbage. Today (October 31), armed forces, local authorities and people urgently cleared mud, collected garbage, and handled environmental sanitation in the spirit of "where the water recedes, there will be cleaning".
