The Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) is verifying and clarifying the clip of a man driving a motorbike with both hands on Kim Son Bridge ( Bac Lieu City) that is spreading on social networks.

Previously, when the clip was posted, it attracted thousands of views and hundreds of comments expressing outrage at the man’s actions. Most of them said that this was an act of disregard for traffic safety laws, and at the same time posed a high risk of endangering the driver himself as well as other road users.

Immediately after receiving the report, the leader of the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) quickly directed the Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 to assign a Working Group to verify, clarify, and handle the case according to the provisions of the law. By professional measures, the authorities have identified the vehicle with license plate 94K1-979.xx, owned by Ms. NYN (residing in Hamlet 5, Ward 2, Bac Lieu City) (the owner of the vehicle is currently not present in the locality, and has handed the vehicle over to her biological mother, Ms. NTYN). The driver of the motorbike 94K1-979.xx who committed the violation as shown in the posted clip is TVQ (36 years old, residing in Hamlet 5, Ward 2, Bac Lieu City). Through the work, the authorities have drawn up a record and issued a decision to temporarily detain the above vehicle. At the same time, continue to coordinate with the local police to handle the violator according to the correct procedures and provisions of the law.

Previously, Bac Lieu Newspaper reported that a man driving a 2-wheeled vehicle let go of both hands while driving on the bridge. Specifically, a traffic participant's dash cam recorded the image of TVQ driving a 2-wheeled vehicle in Bac Lieu City from the center of Bac Lieu City to Nha Mat Ward. When the vehicle was going up Kim Son Bridge, the man suddenly let go of both hands and raised them to the sky, causing panic among the people walking beside him. The image was recorded at 5:16 p.m. on April 5.
