Elbot is made from solid cast steel and aluminum, modular design with 1310mm arm span, ±0.1mm accuracy, maximum load capacity of 6kg and weight of only 43kg, meeting working space diameter up to 2.6m - an optimal design between performance and flexibility for many industries.

To achieve accuracy of 0.1mm and 0.05mm, all robot notches must be extremely precisely machined and manufactured.

Elbot includes 3 degrees of freedom for positioning motion (origin → wrist) - movement in 3D space to bring the robot arm to the correct position and 3 degrees of freedom for directional motion (wrist) allowing rotation, tilt, and bending of the tool head (end - effector) in many directions.

Huu Trung, born in 1993, the "father" of Elbot, loved and wanted to create a machine that could serve people since he was 11 years old. After 5 years of nurturing and researching, in 2010, the 16-year-old male student officially completed the first version, a 5-level mini robot arm, with a size of about 300mm.

However, the student at that time knew that to make a robotic arm like his dream was still a long way off. Therefore, over the next 10 years, he spent time accumulating knowledge about mechanics, electronics, programming, 3D graphic design...

Elbot Robot Attracts Many People's Attention

At the launch of the Elbot Mark 3 - Mark 4 6-degree-of-freedom industrial robot arm recently held in Hanoi, Huu Trung shared that when he said he would build a robot arm, almost no one understood his wish.

"There are many people who laugh at me because they don't know what this product will look like or think I'm... delusional. However, I have family members who always support me and my determination. I always tell people that if you do something, you have to do it thoroughly because that's the only way to get results. When I look back on the journey over the past years of constantly striving to improve, I feel very proud" - said Mr. Huu Trung.

Identifying robots as a useful tool not only in work but also in life, but the cost of owning a high-tech device is quite expensive, so Huu Trung decided to create a "made in Vietnam" robot so that not only large units but also small businesses, training facilities, and individuals can access it.

Huu Trung also shared that in the near future he will launch a technology product "from the 22nd century" - a 4-dimensional space storage machine with a very small size that can operate without using electricity. The purpose of researching and developing this machine is to use it to store the heroic historical data of the Vietnamese people in an eternal form, without being damaged or defective.
