Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have ended their six-month athlete-coach relationship just ahead of the 2025 Roland Garros tournament.
Both confirmed the end of their partnership in a statement posted on their personal pages on May 13. Murray thanked Djokovic for "a great opportunity".
In response, Djokovic wrote: "Thank you Coach Andy for all the hard work, joy and support over the past six months, both on and off the court. I am truly happy that our friendship has deepened."

Previously, Djokovic surprised everyone when he invited Murray, who has no coaching experience, to join his team from November 2024 after the tennis player retired.
Under Murray's guidance, Djokovic has a record of 12 wins and 7 losses. Notably, the Serbian reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open but withdrew due to injury, and was runner-up at the Miami Masters.
The 37-year-old's form has been in decline at a crucial stage of the season, with Roland Garros less than two weeks away, followed by Wimbledon.
That made Djokovic decide to compete in the ATP 250 tournament on clay in Geneva - Switzerland next week.
This will be an important preparation before the Serbian tennis player aims for his 25th Grand Slam title at Roland Garros.
For Murray, he found his first foray into the coaching world a steep learning curve and will carry some valuable lessons into his next job.
