The peak of pushing back crimes of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods in Ha Tinh

Implementing the telegrams and directives of the Prime Minister and Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee on launching a peak campaign to combat, prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights; at the same time, in order to effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of people and businesses, and protect the security and health of the people, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to launch a peak campaign to combat, prevent and repel crimes of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights in the province (from May 15, 2025 to June 15, 2025).

The Vietnam Poultry Association affirms that, up to this point, there is no scientific evidence of the production of fake chicken eggs with the same characteristics as natural chicken eggs.

Establish a working group with the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as the Head, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha - Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 389 as Deputy Head; members include leaders of departments and branches: Provincial Police, Provincial Border Guard Command, Regional Customs Branch XI, Industry and Trade, Health, Agriculture and Environment, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Science and Technology, Market Management Branch, Ha Tinh Newspaper.

The provincial police urgently developed and implemented a plan to attack and suppress smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement by the police force in the whole province to ensure effectiveness. Directed professional forces to closely coordinate with functional forces to focus on identifying organizations and individuals suspected of smuggling, trade fraud, production, and trading of counterfeit goods, intellectual property infringement, goods of unknown origin and related acts, deploying professional measures to combat, establish special projects, and strictly handle violations to promptly deter and warn.

The Customs Sub-Department of Region XI closely coordinates with relevant forces, strengthens information collection, strengthens inspection, supervision and customs control at border gates to promptly detect and handle smuggling, trade fraud and tax fraud; strengthens strict control of imported goods, prevents counterfeit goods, goods of unknown origin and poor quality goods from being smuggled into the country.

The Provincial Border Guard Command coordinates with the police, customs and other functional forces to patrol and control border areas, combat smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property rights infringement, ensuring order and safety in border areas, on roads and at sea.

The Department of Industry and Trade directs market management forces to strengthen inspection and strictly handle cases of smuggling, production and trading of counterfeit goods, infringement of intellectual property rights, goods of unknown origin, especially violations in the e-commerce environment; strengthen inspection and strict control of goods circulating in the market, promptly detect and handle counterfeit and poor quality goods.

The Department of Health strengthens inspection , control, and strict handling of the trading and business of counterfeit drugs, smuggled drugs, fake pharmaceuticals, and drugs of unknown origin in the province.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations related to forestry, aquatic products, production and trade of fake plant varieties, livestock, fertilizers and pesticides in the province; take measures to control the use of stimulants, growth chemicals and weight gainers for agricultural products circulating in the province.

The Department of Science and Technology strengthens inspection and strictly handles organizations and individuals who violate the regulations on publishing false information.

Ha Tinh Newspaper coordinated with the Provincial Steering Committee 389, the Department of Industry and Trade (Market Management Department), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promptly develop appropriate communication programs, increase the duration, and propagate the dangers of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, intellectual property rights infringement, and copyright infringement to raise awareness and responsibility of officials, civil servants and people; propagate and disseminate tricks and methods of fraud and deception of subjects so that people can recognize, raise vigilance and inform competent state agencies.

Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, cities and towns: grasp the situation in the management area; direct departments, offices, People's Committees of communes, wards and towns to proactively implement according to assigned functions, tasks and authority and coordinate with functional forces to strengthen inspection, control, detection, strict handling according to authority or recommend competent authorities to strictly handle violations of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, fake goods, goods of unknown origin, and intellectual property infringement in the management area.

Propose that the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations coordinate with departments, branches, functional forces, district and commune authorities to mobilize union members to participate in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha - Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 389 to direct the implementation of the above contents promptly, resolutely and effectively.
