Fansipan cable car ticket price reduction up to 50% in April and May

To stimulate summer tourism , from now until May 19, Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area is offering big promotions, discounting tickets from 15% to 50% for domestic and foreign tourists, and organizing a series of attractive festivals and events.

A series of great promotions to celebrate 120 years of Sa Pa tourism

In response to the 120th anniversary of Sa Pa tourism, Sa Pa Tourism Association coordinated with Sun Group Northwest Region to organize a cooperation program to stimulate demand, attracting more than 70 businesses to participate, with discount and incentive programs throughout 2023.

Sun World Fansipan Legend is the World's Leading Cultural Tourist Destination awarded by World Travel Awards.

Among them, Sun World Fansipan Legend has the biggest discount, reducing cable car tickets from 15% to 50%. Specifically, the Fansipan cable car ticket price for visitors from 6 Northwestern provinces, including Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Yen Bai and Hoa Binh, is reduced from 800,000 VND/ticket to only 300,000 VND/ticket. For visitors from other provinces and international countries, a discount of 120,000 VND/ticket or a combo ticket and lunch buffet will be applied. The above ticket price applies to adults and children over 1 meter tall and free for children under 1 meter tall. The promotion lasts from now until May 19 and does not apply to Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Along with Sun World Fansipan Legend, many tourism service businesses in Sa Pa town have also committed to offering attractive special price incentives. In particular, large hotels such as Chau Long, Hotel Dela Coupole MGallery, Sapa Garden Hotel, Sapa Paradise Hotel... have room or food price incentives from 12% - 30%. Some restaurants such as Huong Rung Sapa, Le Gecko, BBQ Tra Phuong Quan... have a 12% discount policy for groups of 12 people or more, applicable from Monday to Thursday of the week. In addition, there are many other incentive programs from car companies, coffee shops, laundry services... for tourists on this occasion.

From March 20-24, Sa Pa will hold a solemn festival at Mau Thuong Temple, Mau Son Temple and Mau Fansipan with a sacrificial ceremony and folk procession.

Unique experiences in the Northwest summer

Not only attractive promotions and incentives, Sa Pa also attracts tourists with its "unique" experiences during the summer in the Northwest.

While the North is preparing for a prolonged heat wave, just a few hours drive from Hanoi, the "mountain town" Sa Pa has a very mild summer, with cool air and a romantic misty scene like Europe. In particular, with only about 20 minutes of traveling on the cable car to the "Roof of Indochina" Fansipan, visitors will feel like they are lost in a fairyland, to walk in the mist and clouds, taking in the majestic scenery of the Hoang Lien Son range and the ancient Vietnamese pagodas at the Fansipan spiritual complex. Summer in Sa Pa is also known as the flower season. Walking around the streets, visitors can easily see climbing rose vines blooming bright red on fences or gate arches. The journey to visit Sa Pa flower season will be even more brilliant when visitors board the Muong Hoa train, crossing the valley to the cable car station. At the cable car station, visitors should not miss checking in with the 7-hectare mustard garden, the pure white rum flower garden or the largest rose valley in Vietnam with many species of old and foreign roses. Not only that, April is also the time when Hoang Lien Son returns to its true name of "kingdom of rhododendrons", with 40 species of many colors and shapes. This summer, Sa Pa also attracts tourists with a series of famous events and festivals. Most recently, from March 20-24, the People's Committee of Sa Pa town organized the Mau Son, Mau Thuong and Mau Fansipan Temple Festival; immediately after that, on April 22-23, was the first ethnic cultural festival in Sa Pa town, recreating the cultural space of 5 ethnic groups living here.

During the April 30-May 1 holiday, visitors should get ready to immerse themselves in the Rose Festival and street parade, one of the biggest events in Sa Pa in the year. The opening stage of the event is located in the rose valley at the Fansipan cable car station, where millions of fresh roses are blooming. From here, dozens of horse-drawn carriages, antique cars, electric cars decorated splendidly and about 1,000 artisans and people will have the biggest parade in the Northwest, performing special performances, impressively combining modern and traditional culture.
