That is Zayn Sofuoglu, 5 years old, son of former world motorcycle racing champion Kenan Sofuoglu from Turkey. He has won the World Championship of motorsport five times. In 2010 and 2011, he also competed in Moto2, but did not advance to MotoGP.
He has clearly passed on his passion for motorsports to his son, who has excelled in a range of disciplines, from go-karting and motorcycling to skiing and snowboarding.
If you’re into cars and speed, you’ve probably heard of Sofuoglu. In early 2023, he went viral when his parents shared a video of him behind the wheel of a Ferrari SF90 Stradale at the age of three, doing a donut.
Since then, the boy has continued to conquer many challenges with both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. Recently, he was entrusted with a Lamborghini Revuelto supercar to demonstrate.
To be able to control the plug-in hybrid supercar, Sofuoglu sat in a child car seat; the brake and accelerator pedals were extended so that the boy's feet could reach them.
With his father sitting in the passenger seat, the 5-year-old boy drove a Lamborghini to a speed of 312km/h on an empty race track.
To celebrate the new achievement, Zayn added a donut on the Revuelto.
