Ma Da Bridge connecting Dong Nai - Binh Phuoc will start construction in June 2025

(PLVN) - On April 10, according to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, Ma Da bridge - a key traffic project connecting Dong Nai province with Binh Phuoc - will start construction in June 2025 and is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of this year.

The project is implemented with Dong Nai province's budget capital, aiming to strengthen regional connectivity, creating conditions to promote socio -economic development between the two southeastern provinces. Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to implement the construction of Ma Da bridge and the inter-provincial traffic system, with the requirement to complete all legal procedures in the second quarter of 2025.

According to the plan, the road connecting Ma Da Bridge to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 will start construction in June 2026 and be completed in 2028. This traffic route is planned with a scale of 8 lanes, land clearance at one time, and at the same time, research on reasonable investment phases to maximize efficiency.

The project scope extends from Dong Xoai City ( Binh Phuoc ), following DT.753 road, crossing the river through Ma Da bridge into Dong Nai province, continuing to connect with DT.761 and DT.767 routes to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4. According to the assignment, Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee will invest in DT.753 route to Ma Da bridge, while Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee is responsible for building bridges and connecting roads in the province.

It is known that the road connecting Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc uses the central budget. The project not only has the meaning of infrastructure development but also opens up opportunities to promote regional connectivity and strategic traffic connection between the Southeast and the Central Highlands.
