MU fans angry

The wave of criticism against MU increased after the 0-1 defeat to the ASEAN All Stars team in an international friendly match on May 28.

Maung Maung Lwin, a Myanmar player, was the only goal scorer for ASEAN All Stars, while all four Vietnamese players, Hoang Duc, Duy Manh, Van Vi and Hai Long, were given the opportunity to play by coach Kim Sang-sik.

Laurie Whitwell, a writer for Athletic , commented: "A friendly match with many changes in MU's personnel. The disappointment was clearly shown on Amorim's face. MU had watched their opponents lift the trophy for the second time in the past week."

According to BBC , the tour to Malaysia is expected to bring in about 10 million USD for MU. After the match against ASEAN All Stars, the "Red Devils" will fly to Hong Kong to play the next friendly match on May 30.
