According to initial information, at around 10:15 p.m. on October 22, a fire suddenly broke out at a factory of about 1,000 square meters on Pham Van Sang Street (in Xuan Thoi Thuong Commune, Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City).

When the fire was discovered, the surrounding people quickly reported it to the local authorities and functional agencies. However, only about 5 minutes later, the fire engulfed the entire factory.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team (PCCC&CNCH) of Hoc Mon District Police dispatched more than 10 fire trucks to the scene. The authorities divided into many directions to approach and try to control the fire.

At more than 11pm the same day, authorities were still urgently controlling the fire and calculating the damage.

Several ambulances are approaching to try to control the fire.

Previously, in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, a fire also broke out in a wedding hall, forcing about 500 guests and the bride and groom to flee.

Specifically, the fire broke out at around 12:30 noon today (October 22) at a hall where a wedding party was being held in Xuan Son commune, Chau Duc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

Accordingly, at that time, while guests were attending the wedding celebration, an electrical short circuit occurred in the orchestra. The fire then broke out, spread across the stage, quickly engulfing the entire hall. About 500 guests attending the wedding rushed out.

Upon receiving the news, the militia and police of Xuan Son commune quickly deployed a fire fighting plan, but the fire still spread rapidly.

A few minutes later, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Chau Duc District Police dispatched 4 fire trucks and dozens of police officers to the scene to participate in extinguishing the fire.

By 1:15 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished. One person was slightly injured in the fire. The estimated damage from the fire was nearly 2 billion VND.
